APPA Player Registration Guide

Quick Registration Links

How do I register for XPSL events?

  1. Register for Player ID Numbers - Each player should fill out this form to have a Player ID Number emailed to them. One person may collect all of the player information and fill out the form using their email address if necessary.
  2. Sign Up the Team - The person who will be in charge of the team should use their ID number to register the team. If your team has already played an event using the APPA system, you should use the same Team ID Number you used the last time you played (enter the Team ID Number and Password in the appropriate boxes).
  3. Pay your Team Entry Fee - Go to the team list for your event, scroll down to your team name, and click the payment button. Once your payment is accepted, "Payment Accepted" will be displayed. Remember that your spot is only guaranteed if your payment is accepted!
  4. Complete your roster - Go to the team list for your event, and click on "Roster" next to your team name. Use your players' ID numbers to add them to your roster. You can change your roster anytime up to the online registration deadline, so even if you're not sure about your roster, make sure you PAY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to get your spot and update your roster later. If your roster is not complete by the online registration deadline, you will be assessed a fee to add someone to your roster after the online registration deadline has passed. Completing your roster on-time makes check-in easier for everyone, so make sure you do so!
  5. Upload your photo - Click here to log into your Player Profile and upload a photo for your ID card. Each player will receive an ID card, and your ID card will be preprinted for you if you upload your photo and pay your player registration fee online!
  6. Pay 2007 Player Registration Fee - Every player and staff member must pay the 2007 XPSL Player Registration Fee. Click here to log into your Player Profile and pay the player registration fee. Remember that you can save $5 by uploading a photo and prepaying your registration fee online!
  7. Check and Update your XPSL Class - Once you have paid your XPSL player registration fee, log into your Player Profile and make sure your XPSL classification is accurate. The XPSL classification is displayed at the top of the 'Player Information' section, but only if you have paid your player registration fee or are on an XPSL roster. If the XPSL classification displayed is not accurate, please update it. Note that you can't lower your XPSL class on your own, so if you believe that is necessary, email stephanie@nppl.tv.
  8. Bring your photo ID to the event - In order to pick up your XPSL ID card, you'll need a government-issued photo ID card with your picture, name, and birthdate. Players and staff under 16 years of age can also use a school ID card with their birthdate, or a school ID card and their birth certificate, or a school yearbook with their name and picture and their birth certificate.

Refund Policy:

Entry fees are not refundable.

I forgot my password!

You can have your password emailed to you using this form. If the form does not work for you, email your full name, birthdate, and ID number to stephanie@nppl.tv and we'll look it up for you.

It says I already have an APPA ID number, but I don't know what it is.

If you already have an APPA ID number, but don't know what it is, you can have your ID number sent to the email address on record by clicking here and completing the form. If the system can not find you, this usually means you've changed email addresses. If this is the case, email us at stephanie@nppl.tv and we will look up your ID number for you. Make sure you include your full name *AND* birthdate so you get your ID number and not your evil twin's!

Can I pay the player registration fees for my players?

Yes, you can pay the registration fees for anyone you'd like. To pay the fees for your players, once they are added to your roster, there will be a 'Pay Registration Fee' link to the left of their name if they have not paid the fee already. Click on that link to pay their player registration fee. If you're feeling generous, you can also go to other teams' rosters and pay their player registration fees for them too!

The information in my team profile is wrong!

If your team was originally added by XPSL, you'll need to update your team's information. See the next item on how to do that.

How do I change my team's information?

Find your team name in the team list, and click on it. Log in with your team ID number and password and you can update any of your team's infromation.

Do I have to upload a photo or pay my player registration fee online?

You don't HAVE to, but it will save you time and money. If you upload a photo that is approved, and pay your player registration fee online, you can pick up your card at the next XPSL event. Otherwise you can still pay your fee at the event and have your picture taken there, but you may have to wait in line for your card to be made and the on-site player registration fee is $40 instead of $35, so save yourself time and money by doing it online in advance!

One of my players doesn't have a computer. How do I get them an ID number?

Have your player give you their information. You can then enter this information in the form yourself and use your email address to have the ID number sent to you.

I don't know all of my player's ID numbers, or who my players are going to be.

You can update your roster online anytime prior to the event registration deadline. If you're not able to complete your roster by then, you can still change it at the event. Making changes at the event takes more time though, and there may be a change fee, so save yourself time and money by doing it online!
